Getting in and out of bed:

There is no "best" position, just whatever is most comfortable for you.
- Sleep on a mattress that is firm, yet soft enough to conform to the normal curves of the body.
- When sleeping on your side, try a pillow between your knees - When lying on your, back, place a pillow or rolled up blanket under your knees





Roll onto side first and keep your back straight.








Getting in and out of a chair:

Feet flat on the floor and a little apart. Look straight ahead Brace tummy muscles. Use the arm rests (if available) to help you push up.
